| Service Description | The Positive Faecal Occult Blood Clinic compliments the National Bowel Screening Program where patients turn 55 or 65 are invited to take part in a screening program for bowel cancer. Patients returning a positive sample are referred by their General Practitioner to the clinic where they are reviewed for a positive colonoscopy. In the event that a colonoscopy is required the patient has their procedure attended to at Bacchus Marsh & Melton Regional Hospital. |
