Service Description

The Counselling Team is made up of several counsellors from a range of professional disciplines who offer individual and group counselling and family counselling for people who live in the Shires of Moorabool and Melton.

In the community setting, Counsellors work with individuals, families and groups to assist them in the resolution of presenting issues. Our staff have specialist-counselling expertise in the areas of family violence, grief and loss, family work, youth counselling as well as personal life issues. Community education and consultancy are also offered.

Currently counsellors are working in primary schools in Melton to offer an on-going program on how students respond to their feelings and behaviours and assist students and their teachers to better manage these issues.
