The Victorian Patient Satisfaction Survey is conducted on a six monthly basis across all hospitals in Victoria and, through the results, it is possible to compare our performance with other health facilities.

The table below was taken out of the published results of the most recent Victorian Patient Satisfaction Monitor.  The results show that in all cases we are above our hospital category score.  However, it also shows that in nearly all areas we have not scored quite as well as we did in previous surveys.  We are currently looking into why this may be and will then make appropriate changes if thought to be necessary.

The table below also shows how we perform, not just against our own category hospital, but against all hospitals.  In all cases we have performed better than the all hospital category and in all cases except one (discharge and follow up) have performed better than our own hospital.

The final table shows the overall satisfaction of patients admitted to Bacchus Marsh and Melton Regional Hospital – which shows a high percentage of people were very satisfied with their stay.
