Service Description

The Operating Suite offers a wide range of services, which include a Central Sterilising Supplies Department (CSSD), a Pre-Admission Clinic, two Operating Rooms, an Endoscopy Room and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, which includes six day procedure beds.

Theatre Services offer surgery in a range of specialities, which includes Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ear Nose and Throat, Urology, Orthopaedics, Vascular, General Surgery and Endoscopic services.

Eligibility

Any person requiring a procedure, which is carried out by the Health Service.

Access hours

Operating Suite:

7.00am – 9.00pm Monday to Friday

On call 24 hours 7 days.

Pre-Admission Clinic: 9.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday

Referral process

By doctor performing the procedure.

Cost to client

Public patients – as per Medicare Agreement

Private patients – as per terms of insurance coverage.
