| Service Description | The Maternity Unit provides care of any public or private family who chooses to come to Djerriwarrh Health Services. The services available are:
Specialist Obstetrician, Senior Medical Officers – Obstetrics and Gynaecology and General Practitioners with Graduate Diploma in Obstetrics provide 24 hours obstetric cover for the unit. | Eligibility | Low risk pregnancy of more than 34 weeks gestation. |
| Access hours | 24 hours |
| Referral process | Self referral, GP or a local Medical Practitioner to anti natal Clinic or an obstetric with visiting rights. |
| Cost to client | Antenatal care charged by General Practitioner Public Patient via anti natal clinic.
