| Service Description | Currently Djerriwarrh Health Services has a range of Specialist Surgeons with admitting rights. The surgical ward is part of a 20 bed general ward and is staffed at all times by Registered Nurses Division 1 and 2. |
| Eligibility | All people requiring public hospital care under the Medicare Agreement or private patients. All patients must be admitted by a Medical Officer with admitting rights to Djerriwarrh Health Services. |

| Referral process | Referred by Medical Practitioner or transferred from another hospital. |
