Service Description

Melbacc is a flexible, needs based respite service providing support for people with disabilities in Melton and Bacchus Marsh. It provides facility based care and is responsive to demand from clients requiring in home or community based respite options.
It also provides for pre- arranged weekend and holiday period respite places. The program aims to ensure that people with disabilities have access to quality services which assist them to achieve their maximum potential as members of the community

Eligibility

Any person between the ages of 18-65 years (with some flexibility) who has an intellectual physical or sensory disability or acquired brain injury and who lives / works or can show significant links to the Shires of Melton or Moorabool.

Referral process

Anyone can refer.

Cost to client

$15 per night as at Dec.2000.
